I’m a figurative sculptor based in Northamptonshire, working in clay, with final pieces realised in bronze, jesmonite and, at times, found materials. My practice centres on the human figure — its physical presence, its vulnerabilities and the way form can hold traces of experience. Observation is the starting point, but the work often moves between the classical and the ambiguous, drawing on elements of nature, history and balance.
I studied sculpture at City & Guilds of London Art School and completed a Master’s at the New York Academy of Art. My career has taken me between the UK and the US, including commercial and collaborative projects for film, Madame Tussauds and other industry clients, alongside a steady flow of commissions and exhibition work.
I’m a member of the Society of Portrait Sculptors and the Society of Women Artists, and continue to show regularly in London and beyond. Teaching sits alongside my studio practice in a smaller way — occasional workshops and figure‑based sessions.
I am a freelance sculptor based in Milton Keynes. I was born in Wales and grew up in the home counties. I apprenticed for a short time with well known figurative sculptors Edward Russell, Lorne Mckean and John Doubleday after which i went back to school, studying Fine Art Sculpture in London, followed a little later by a Masters in New York.
As well as studying, I exhibited and worked in New York and had my studio in Harlem. During this time I worked producing prototypes for Warner Bros and sculpted for an Artist, which developed into a long relationship as I ended up running her huge studio in Soho (Manhattan). After about 5 years I returned to the Uk and rented a barn to make sculpture. I've been making, teaching and getting sculpture jobs ever since. Spending time in Uk, Asia and the middle east.

How I work depends on the job. Often i am asked to do sculpture work on site, but I have a workshop where I make my own work for exhibitions and private commissions. i have worked large and small and in a variety of materials. I have written a short article about commissioning a sculpture and the steps involved. I like to have a clear process for any commissioned work. The main thing is if you want to chat over a commission idea or just want some friendly advice, contact me and we can talk it through.
I am a member of the Society of Portrait Sculptors and Society of Women Artists. They both have interesting annual shows in London and i have regular mixed and solo shows elsewhere. Please contact me if youre interested in being added to the mailing list for invitations to shows
